Description
The contract is for the installation of a drainage system at the Seneca Golf Course in Brecksville Reservation. The system will be installed by XGD Systems, LLC, who submitted the lowest bid of $125,877.45. The installation includes laying out the drainage system, stripping of existing sod, slit trenching, and installation of corrugated plastic tubing. The contract also includes backfill and compaction of the trench profile and replacement of sod. The work is expected to be completed by XGD Systems, LLC, who has previously performed work for Cleveland Metroparks. Key aspects of the contract include:
• Installation of a drainage system on six (6) foot spacings
• Stripping of existing sod
• Slit trenching 14-16 inches deep with laser grade control
• Installation of 2" c.p.t. (corrugated plastic tubing)
• Backfill and compaction of trench profile with 60:20:20 sand organic USGA mix
• Replacement of sod
