Description
This contract concerns the full roof recovery of the Goodrich Landing Gear B‑3 building located at Snohomish County’s airport facility. After a re‑bid process, Wayne’s Roofing was selected as the awardee with a firm‑fixed‑price bid of $1,299,000, well below the county engineer’s cost estimate of $2,319,050. The scope includes demolition of existing low‑slope metal roofing, removal of gutters, downspouts, and flashings, and installation of new roofing system, metal flashings, gutter assemblies, collector boxes, and a single‑ply waterproof membrane in accordance with the design drawings and addenda. Four firms submitted proposals; two were deemed non‑responsive, leaving Wayne’s Roofing and Queen City Sheet Metal as the only responsive bidders.
