On-Call Remodel Services

This contract provides Sedgwick County with an on‑call, 24/7 remodel services capability for its facilities portfolio (over 100 buildings, ~1.76 million SF). The County will award work to five pre‑qualified contractors who submitted hourly labor rates and material/sub‑contractor markup percentages. Work includes demolition, framing, finishing, ADA modifications, and other general construction tasks; emergency response must begin within two hours of notification. The agreement is a two‑year base term with two one‑year renewal options and is funded primarily through ARPA but may also cover non‑ARPA projects. • On‑call, indefinite‑delivery structure allowing task‑order issuance as needs arise. • Labor rates range $38–$70 /hr (business hours) and $57–$110 /hr (after‑hours) with mark‑ups 10–20 %. • Five contractors are awarded; the County may use any or all to meet scheduling and specialty needs.
