This contract calls for a qualified contractor to clean the wastewater‑treatment digesters at the Rock River Water Reclamation District and haul the resulting debris to the District’s contracted Advanced Disposal landfill. The scope requires all safety equipment, confined‑space entry procedures, de‑watering of material, and delivery of debris on a per‑ton basis. The work must be completed by the end of July 2019 and is priced on a unit‑price (per‑ton) basis.
• Provide full digester cleaning, including removal of sludge, grit, plastic, and other foreign material, and flush internal surfaces with high‑pressure water.
• Dewater debris to pass a paint‑filter test, then haul it to Advanced Disposal landfill (landfill fees paid by the District).
• Comply with prevailing‑wage certification, insurance requirements, and a 24‑hour‑per‑day work window (Monday 7 a.m.–Friday 6 p.m.) as amended in Addendum 3.
