MOBILE COMMUNICATION BATTERIES

The County of Riverside Purchasing Department issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for mobile communication batteries. The contract was awarded to Battery Zone, who was determined to be the overall lowest, most responsive, and responsible bidder. The contract allows any County of Riverside department to order directly from the vendor. The prices quoted must include shipping, handling, delivery, fuel surcharges, and freight. The vendor must also provide current copies of their Certificate of Liability Insurance and Workmen Compensation Insurances. • The contract is for the purchase of various mobile communication batteries, including NiMH, NiCad, and Lithium batteries. • The vendor must deliver the products to the County's various agencies, with delivery appointments made 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. • The County reserves the right to split or make the award that is most advantageous to the County. • The County does not have an estimated usage of the items utilized by the different agencies, and the award shall be based on an "as needed" requirement by all County agencies.
