Description
The County of Riverside issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of one detachable gooseneck trailer with a 44-ton capacity and 16-tire tandem axle with expandable width. The contract was awarded to Harley Murray Inc. The scope of work includes the delivery of the trailer to the Riverside County Flood Control District. Key features of the contract include:
• The trailer must be a new current production year model
• The trailer must have a 44-ton capacity and 16-tire tandem axle with expandable width
• The contract includes a sales tax of 8% and a CA tire fee
• The contract also includes a delivery fee
• The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive any discrepancy or technicality
• A local preference program is in place, which may apply a 5% price preference to the total bid price during evaluation of the bid responses
