Employee Benefits Consulting Services

This contract is for employee benefits consulting services to be provided by OneDigital, LLC dba Digital Insurance, LLC to Orange County, Florida. The contract has a term of 3 years, from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2027, with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The total amount to be paid by the COUNTY under this Contract for the base period shall not exceed $568,800. The CONTRACTOR will provide professional/consultation services in the area of employee benefits, as more specifically set forth in the Scope of Services detailed in Exhibit “A”. The contract includes provisions for payments, insurance requirements, indemnification, and termination. Some key points include: • The CONTRACTOR shall commence services on October 1, 2024, and complete all services by September 30, 2027. • The CONTRACTOR shall maintain insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Professional Liability. • The CONTRACTOR shall indemnify and hold harmless the COUNTY, its officials, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, suits, judgments, demands, liabilities, damages, cost and expenses. • The contract may be renewed for two additional one-year periods upon mutual written agreement of the parties at the same prices, terms, and conditions. • The CONTRACTOR shall provide a waiver of subrogation or a waiver of transfer of rights of recovery, in favor of the County for the workers’ compensation and general liability policies. Some of the services that will be provided under this contract include: • Consulting services in the area of employee benefits • Administration of the Wellness for Life Plan, including flexible spending accounts and other benefits • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Affordable Care Act and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 The contract also includes provisions for the CONTRACTOR to provide reports and other documentation to the COUNTY, including a final invoice and certificates of insurance.
