Description
The Multnomah County Department of Community Services is seeking bids from professional, qualified, and experienced companies for Flagging and Traffic Control Services. The services will be utilized on County streets, bridges, and at various locations throughout the County, on an “as needed and when required basis” per the specifications outlined within this Invitation to Bid. The contract term shall not exceed five years, and the total funding available for all services performed under resulting contracts is estimated to be around $500,000 over a five-year period.
• The contract requires the supplier to provide all labor, transportation, supervision, tools, equipment, supplies, fuel, safety equipment, delineators, signs, cones, arrow boards, and other materials necessary and appropriate, or incidental to the proper and complete execution of the services.
• The supplier is solely responsible for having the site secured in accordance with OSHA rules and regulations, and to perform the work so that there is no risk of danger or hazard to the staff and public at any time during the progress of the work until completion.
• The contract includes a prevailing wage requirement, and the supplier must comply fully with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870.
