Professional Design Services for Cleveland Metroparks First Tee Cleveland Expansion Washington Reservation

This contract is for professional design services for the First Tee Cleveland Expansion at the Washington Reservation. The scope of work includes programming and due diligence, schematic design, design development, construction and permit documentation preparation, and construction administration. The contract was awarded to DS Architecture, LLC, with a not-to-exceed amount of $217,920. The project aims to create a flagship facility for the First Tee of Cleveland, providing adequate space and amenities for growing programs and an increasing number of students and participants. The design will be mutually acceptable to Cleveland Metroparks and First Tee Cleveland. • The project includes field measuring and photography, existing conditions site survey, geotechnical soil investigations, and determination of preliminary structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering systems. • The schematic design phase will include preliminary building and zoning code analysis, initial site plan, development of floor plans, and creation of three-dimensional, photorealistic images. • The design development phase will include preparation of site plan, study of materials, equipment, fixtures, and building systems, and obtaining preliminary review and comments from authorities having jurisdiction. • The construction administration phase will include bi-weekly onsite meetings, review of weekly field reports, and observation of construction process to confirm substantial completion.
