Tree Mortality Program Project #41

The County of Calaveras is seeking a vendor to provide tree mitigation services for the Tree Mortality Program Project #41. The services include cutting and removing dead and dying trees, as well as treating associated slash and debris that pose a hazard to county infrastructure. The contract was awarded to Oneto Tree Service of Drytown, California, with a grand total lump sum amount of $127,500.00. The contract requires the vendor to provide certificates of insurance, a traffic control plan, and an operations plan within five business days of the notice of intent to award. • The contract is for tree mitigation services in the project areas defined in the attached Exhibit A - Project Area Location (Maps). • The services include all operations related to the safe, legal, efficient cutting of dead and/or dying trees, selective removal of trees and treatment of associated slash and debris that pose a hazard to county infrastructure. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a traffic control plan by a licensed C-31 Traffic Control Contractor consistent with Caltrans specifications. • The contract has a grand total lump sum amount of $127,500.00. • The vendor is required to submit certificates of insurance, a traffic control plan, and an operations plan within five business days of the notice of intent to award.
