Tax Map Maintenance

This contract establishes a one‑year agreement (2026) between the Township of Barnegat and Remington & Vernick Engineers for the ongoing maintenance of the township’s tax‑map system. The consultant will provide engineering, surveying, planning, and construction‑phase observation services, delivering true‑copy maps, charts, and data in both hard‑copy and electronic formats. Payment is based on a detailed schedule of hourly rates (ranging from $150 to $250 per hour depending on discipline) or a fixed‑fee arrangement per approved project proposal. The agreement includes standard municipal procurement clauses such as insurance requirements, limitation of liability, dispute‑resolution via mediation, and termination rights for convenience or breach. • Scope – Tax‑map updates, surveying, GIS data, and related engineering/plan review services. • Compensation – Hourly rates listed in Exhibit A; invoices payable within 30 days, 1.5 % monthly interest on late payments. • Compliance – Requires $1 M CGL, $2 M professional liability insurance, EEO/AA reporting, and an Employee Information Report valid through 2028.
