Description

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking a qualified firm to conduct a gap analysis of its Technology Services Department. The selected firm will assess the city's current technology environment, identify existing strengths and weaknesses, and provide a basis for future investment. The city reserves the right to negotiate with more than one firm. The ideal firm will have experience in public sector information technology assessments. • The RFP process includes two steps: selection of the most qualified firm and negotiation of a contract and fee schedule. • The city will consider proposals from single firms or multiple firms working as a team. • The city will provide the consultant with all relevant information pertaining to its current IT program. • A pre-bid conference was held on March 25, 2019, to answer questions and clarify requirements.
