Crane and Hoist Maintenance

The City of Independence Power and Light Department (IPL) is requesting bids from qualified vendors for crane and hoist inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, and testing services. The successful bidder will be required to work on the lifting systems at the Blue Valley Power Plant. The contract includes various services such as inspection services, field service, machine work, load testing, and engineering services. The contract also includes prices for different services, including straight time, overtime, and holiday rates. • Inspection services: $85.00 per hour (straight time), $127.50 per hour (overtime), $127.50 per hour (holiday) • Field service: $85.00 per hour (straight time), $127.50 per hour (overtime), $127.50 per hour (holiday) • Machine work: $100.00 per hour (straight time), $150.00 per hour (overtime), $200.00 per hour (holiday) • Load testing: $350.00 (1/4-1 ton), $1,100.00 (2-5 ton), $1,650.00 (6-10 ton), $1,850.00 (11-60 ton) • Engineering services: $250.00 per hour The contract is recommended to be awarded to Anchor Sales & Service, who is the lowest bidder.
