RAPID DEPLOYMENT KIT SYSTEM PACKAGE FOR HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENT DETECTION

The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services department solicited quotations for a Rapid Deployment Kit (RDK) System for Hazardous Environment Detection. The RDK devices are used in emergency response to hazardous materials releases to remotely monitor the environment qualitatively and quantitatively for certain hazardous materials and for air quality. The contract was awarded to RAE Systems, who provided the most responsive and responsible bid. The contract includes the delivery of RDK devices, including a KIT, RDK HOST, Ruggedized, touch screen, GPS, and AREARAE MONITOR, LEL.
