Description
This contract is for the provision of training programs under the Hire Up Harris Workforce Program for Harris County, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The program aims to provide technical or sectoral-based training, licenses, degrees, or other industry-recognized qualifications, coupled with career success training, a concrete pipeline to employment, and wraparound services. The expected impact includes increasing the availability of workforce development programs, incentivizing the placement of workers in quality jobs, and providing wraparound support and financial resources to residents. The contract has a term of two years, with an option to renew for an additional two-year term.
