Fleet Vehicles for Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties

The County of Riverside's Purchasing and Fleet Services department, in cooperation with the counties of Orange, San Bernardino, and San Diego, solicited quotations from motor vehicle dealerships to provide delivery of current model year fleet vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles. The contract is valid for up to three years with the option to renew for two additional one-year terms. The estimated quantities for each vehicle type are as follows: 1/2 ton 4x2 pickup trucks (231), 3/4 ton 4x2 pickup trucks (131), 1/2 ton 4x4 pickup trucks (250), 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup trucks (280), compact sedans (152), mid-size sedans (1,145), full-size sedans (654), compact SUVs (140), mid-size SUVs (887), full-size SUVs (523), mini vans (281), and full-size vans (474). The awarded vendors are required to provide a copy of the current model year factory price sheet if requested. • The contract includes pricing for various vehicle options, such as alternate color schemes and available engine sizes. • The vendors are required to provide manufacturer's build code, where applicable. • The contract includes discounts for volume orders and prompt payment. • The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers and to waive any discrepancy or technicality. • Orders for vehicles will be placed on an as-needed basis by each County agency.
