The City of Mobile, Alabama is seeking a private contractor to provide grapple‑truck services for the collection and transport of residential vegetative debris, homeowner construction & demolition debris, and yard waste to the designated landfill. The work includes supplying appropriately sized grapple trucks (either 25‑45 cu yd or ≥ 46 cu yd), crew uniforms, fuel, safety protocols, traffic control, and insurance, with the City covering disposal/tipping fees. Vendors must be able to mobilize trucks on short notice (2 trucks within 48 hours, 4 trucks within 72 hours, up to 8 trucks within five days) and submit sealed paper bids by the deadline. Payment is on a weekly invoicing basis with a 20‑day payment term after receipt of goods. The solicitation requires substantial insurance coverage and proof of E‑Verify enrollment.
