Mixed Gas Permeation Analyzer

The University of Florida's Department of Chemical Engineering is seeking to purchase a mixed gas/vapor membrane permeation analyzer to measure simultaneous permeabilities of multiple gases and vapors through polymer membranes. The contract includes the purchase of the analyzer, installation, on-site training, software, warranty, and delivery. The successful vendor is Maxwell Robotics, Inc. The contract term is for an initial period of 2 years, with an option to renew for 2 periods of 1 year. • The analyzer must have certain features, including on-the-fly mixing of up to 4 feed gases, temperature-controlled sample environment, and the ability to introduce water or organic solvent vapor to both upstream and downstream gas streams. • The contract includes a 2-year warranty, with pricing for service, maintenance, and repair costs. • The vendor must provide on-site training and ongoing training and education. • The University of Florida reserves the right to terminate the contract if the vendor is debarred, suspended, or otherwise prohibited from participating in public procurement activities.
