TIRES

The County of Ocean has awarded a contract for the furnishing and delivery of tires to three vendors: Custom Bandag, Inc., Inter City Tire & Auto Center, Inc., and Service Tire Truck Centers. The contract period is from November 1, 2023, to October 31, 2024. The vendors will provide various types of tires, including automotive, light truck, and industrial tires. The contract includes a provision for the County to extend the term of the contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15. • The contract includes a list of specific tire items and their corresponding prices. • The vendors have extended this contract to County Cooperative Contract System Participants. • The contract requires the vendors to deliver the tires upon receipt of a Purchase Order issued by the Ocean County Department of Purchase. • The contract includes a provision for the County to pay for the tires upon approval of vouchers submitted by the vendors.
