2025-Armed Private Patrol and Security Services

The City of Chico is seeking a contractor to provide Armed Private Patrol and Security Services at various locations, including the Chico Downtown Parking Structure, City Plaza, and other facilities. The contract has an initial term of one year with the possibility of four additional years. The contractor will be responsible for providing security services, including emergency response. The evaluation criteria for the bid include annual base bid total, experience/references, capacity and resources, and emergency response time. • The contract requires the contractor to have a bid bond submitted, proof of licenses, and proof of first aid, CPR, and crisis intervention training. • The contractor must also meet the City's requirements and score the highest on the evaluation criteria. • The City reserves the right to extend the contract for four additional years upon mutual agreement by both parties.
