Physical Therapy Services for Inmates - RFQ-25-010

The County of Bergen has awarded a contract to Scerbo Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Institute, LLC to provide physical therapy services to inmates at the Bergen County Jail. The contract started on September 4, 2025, and is set to end on September 3, 2026. The physical therapy services will be provided by Dr. Frank J. Scerbo, PT, DPT, MS and Dr. Kyle McDonough, PT, DPT. The services will include orthopedic physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, and treatment of injuries. The contractor will bring their own equipment and maintain their own liability insurance. Key points of this contract include: • The contract is for a period of one year • The physical therapy services will be provided on-site at the Bergen County Jail • The contractor will provide their own equipment and maintain their own liability insurance • The contractor has demonstrated a reduction in costs to the county while maintaining quality of care for county inmates • The contractor has no relatives who are employed by the County of Bergen or who serve as elected officials at any level of government
