Hydrogeological Consulting and Support Services

This contract provides Fauquier County Government and Fauquier County Public Schools with professional hydrogeological consulting services on an as‑needed basis. The awardee will support source‑water development, rehabilitation of existing groundwater wells, groundwater‑quality monitoring, regulatory compliance, and related water‑ and wastewater‑engineering tasks throughout the county and its school system. The agreement is a one‑year base period with the option to extend up to four additional one‑year terms, allowing a maximum contract duration of five years. Payments are made on net‑45 terms upon receipt of proper invoicing. • Scope includes design, permitting, construction oversight, and remediation of municipal wells and groundwater resources. • Services are delivered by Emery & Garrett Groundwater Investigations, LLC with subcontracted support from Dewberry Consultants, LLC for specialized water‑engineering work. • The solicitation was publicly posted on the county’s Bonfire portal, with an electronic submission deadline of 13 Sept 2024.
