Pet Cremation Services

The Multnomah County Department of Community Services, Animal Services Division is seeking a vendor to provide animal cremation services on a requirements basis. The services include picking up carcasses from the Multnomah County Animal Shelter and transporting them for cremation. The vendor must have the ability to cremate large animals and provide access to their facility for county employees and contractors to drop off carcasses. The contract term is 5 years with the option to terminate on any contract anniversary. The evaluation criteria include the vendor's experience, pricing, and ability to provide services in a timely manner. • The vendor must have experience in animal cremation services and be able to provide a detailed description of their experience. • The vendor must provide a per pound price for the cremation services and be able to describe their pricing structure. • The vendor must be able to provide access to their facility for county employees and contractors to drop off carcasses. • The vendor must be able to provide services in a timely manner and be able to describe their pickup schedule. • The vendor must be able to provide a detailed description of their cultural competency and diversity training. • The vendor must be able to provide a detailed description of their healthy workplace policies and practices.
