Concourse B Power Refeed

The City of Boise has awarded a contract for the Concourse B Power Refeed project at the Boise Airport. The project includes medium voltage feeders, a sectionalizing termination cabinet, medium voltage switch, VPI ventilated dry-type transformer, and 480 volt feeders to refeed power to Concourse B. The contract was awarded to Lea Electric and Quality Electric Inc. The project manual, drawings, and addendums are available for download. The contract includes a bid schedule with multiple line items, including a lump sum for the Concourse B Power Refeed area of work and a separate bid schedule for the purchase and testing of a new spare breaker. • The project requires the demolition of the existing Idaho Power transformer and diesel-engine generators. • The contract includes a contingency allowance of $35,000. • The bidder must provide a bid bond and a signed bid proposal signature page. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the project manual.
