COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE BROKER / AGENT

The City of Palm Bay, Florida is seeking a commercial real estate broker/agent to market, secure, and sell city-owned real estate. The successful bidder will enter into a professional services agreement with the city and provide integrated listing and marketing services, including MLS listings, advertising, and technical assistance. The broker/agent will receive a commission based on the final sale price of the property. The city is looking to sell over 300 parcels of land, primarily vacant lots, and is interested in bundling properties by zoning classification, geographic area, or other potential groupings. The contract will include services such as establishing a national and local marketing strategy, verifying current zoning, and providing technical assistance and advice on the presentation of the property for sale. Some of the key deliverables include: • Establishing a national and local marketing strategy • Verifying current zoning of excess city properties • Accurately listing the property with the Multiple Listing Services (MLS) • Providing technical assistance and advice on the presentation of the property for sale • Forwarding offers to the designated city contact person for consideration of sale • Assisting the city with the close of accepted offers and coordinating with the city attorney on real estate transaction closings.
