Employee Safety Shoes and Accessories

The City of Orlando has awarded a contract to Global Trading, Inc. for the provision of employee safety shoes and accessories. The contract has a term of three years, starting from December 23, 2024, and ending on December 22, 2027. The contractor will provide safety shoes and accessories that meet the required standards, and the City will establish a percentage discount for safety shoe brands. The contractor will also provide a product catalog, sizing assistance, order fulfillment, returns and exchanges, and warranty and repairs. The contract includes provisions for human trafficking affidavit, scrutinized company prohibition, and entities of foreign countries of concern affidavit. • The contractor must comply with the minimum American National Standards Institute (ANSI) safety criteria. • The contractor must provide a comprehensive product catalog with a variety of manufacturer brands. • The contractor must provide sizing assistance and order fulfillment. • The contractor must have a clear and efficient returns/exchanges policy. • The contractor must provide warranties for their safety shoes and have a process in place for handling repairs or replacements.
