Description
The City of Sebring is seeking a qualified and licensed contractor to clean and paint the Cemetery Road Wastewater Plant. The contractor will be required to properly prepare the surface, prime as required, and apply a final protective coating to the exterior of all concrete tanks, steel/iron piping, and the exterior of the blower chlorine building. The contractor shall provide a lump sum price for all work.
• The bid opening was on August 6, 2015, at 2:00 PM at City Hall Council Chambers.
• A pre-bid meeting was held on July 28, 2015, at 10:00 AM.
• All bids were rejected due to concerns about the bid specifications and bidder qualifications.
• The City of Sebring plans to rebid the project with improved bid specifications and bidder qualifications.
