The Hirschdale Road over Truckee River Bridge Replacement Project and the Hirschdale Road at Hinton (UPRR) Overhead Rehabilitation Project are being bid together as one project due to their proximity to each other, and for economy of scale. The work to be done includes constructing a new bridge, grading, paving, striping, installing MGS, and removing the existing bridge. The project also includes seismic retrofit and rehabilitation of the Hinton UPRR Overhead bridge. The contract was awarded to Myers & Sons Construction LLC for a total amount of $14,874,451.35.
