Mill Creek, Prairie to Cedar, Phase 1, Stormwater Improvements

The City of Olathe, Kansas, Public Works Department is requesting qualified design firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design services for the Mill Creek, Prairie to Cedar, Phase 1, Stormwater Improvements project. The project will consist of the design of stormwater infrastructure, culvert/bridge design, street improvements, and channel improvements of Mill Creek. The project will include survey of existing conditions, buyout of habitable structures in the FEMA floodplain and floodway, design of grading improvements, and more. • The project location is included in the RFQ. • The project will include coordination with both the Johnson County SMAC program and the City of Olathe. • The project will require obtaining all required permits through federal and state agencies. • The project will require assisting the City with bidding of projects for construction and as needed throughout project construction.
