SRTS Miami Lakes Elementary School Project

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking a contractor to construct a shared use path and signal modification at the Miami Lakes Elementary School. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the project. The work includes removal of concrete sidewalk and asphalt path, construction of concrete and asphalt shared use paths, excavation, embankment, regulatory signing and pavement markings, and modification of traffic signal equipment. The project location is on the east side of Miami Lakeway Drive North/South, between NW 67 Avenue to NW 64th Avenue. • The project requires a bid bond of up to 5% of the total bid price. • The engineer's estimated project amount is $520,000.00. • A pre-bid conference was held on September 18, 2018, at the Town's Government Center. • The contract was awarded to Florida Engineering & Development Corp. for a price of $890,445.05.
