VARIOUS SURVEYING EQUIPMENT

The County of Hawaii issued an RFQ for various surveying equipment, including a total station, accessories kit, data collector, shipping, and tax. The RFQ was cancelled by the using agency. Vendors were required to provide equipment similar to or equal to specific brands and models, and the products had to be manufactured and assembled in the United States in compliance with the Buy America Act. The equipment was to be delivered to the Police Department, Traffic Services, in Hilo, HI. • The RFQ included a list of items to be awarded as a lot, with specific quantities and units for each item. • Vendors were required to submit questions through the Public Purchase platform. • The RFQ included a downloadable form for vendors to complete and submit with their quotation. • The County of Hawaii is exempt from federal taxes and the City and County of Honolulu's 0.5% General Excise Tax Surcharge.
