The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services for a Mahany Park Trail and Open Space Enhancement Feasibility Study. The study aims to determine the feasibility of a paved Class I Bike Path/Multi-Use Trail that establishes key connections through the open space around Mahany Regional Park and enhances and protects the existing preserved open space. The selected consultant will prepare a feasibility study that includes public engagement, identification of opportunities and constraints, an alternatives analysis, and associated reports. Key points to consider include:
• The study will include a conceptual improvement plan for development of the trail and open space enhancements.
• The proposed trail is based on the City's Bicycle Master Plan, which identifies a Class I Bike Path that connects to Fiddyment Road, Pleasant Grove Boulevard, and the existing Park Regency Trail and Mahany Trail in the project area.
• The City may issue a future Request for Proposals to conduct preliminary design, environmental review, final design, and permitting upon acceptance of the feasibility study.
