SVC-BEES/1415 Bee Removal Services

The City of Punta Gorda is seeking to contract with State of Florida registered Beekeepers and State of Florida licensed Pest Control companies for bee removal services. The goal of the City is to have the bees and hives relocated to a state-approved apiary. The contract was awarded to two vendors, Joe Redburn and Councell Farms. The scope of work includes service calls, hourly rates, and trapping, removal, and relocation of bee swarms. • The contract includes a list of services with corresponding unit prices and estimated quantities. • The vendors are required to have the necessary licenses and certifications to perform the services. • The contract has a payment term of 2% 10 Net 30. • The City of Punta Gorda reserves the right to select which vendor to use for each service call.
