Description
This contract provides Radford University with comprehensive grading, excavating, and site‑service support through the rental of heavy equipment (motor grader, loaders, backhoes, excavators, dump trucks, etc.) and associated labor (supervisor, foreman, helper). The vendor operates on a time‑and‑materials basis with clearly defined regular‑hour and overtime rates, and a CPI‑based price adjustment of 5.7 % for the 2022‑2023 renewal. A diesel‑fuel surcharge is also applied monthly based on U.S. Energy Information Administration prices. The work is performed on‑site at various university facilities, with a minimum daily charge of four hours and a response time of five work days for equipment mobilization. All original contract terms, specifications, and performance standards remain in effect throughout the renewal period.
