Parent Partners and Resource Parent Mentorship Services

The County of Fresno is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide Parent Partner and Resource Parent mentorship services. The successful bidder will manage and coordinate a team of Parent Partners and Resource Parent Mentors to provide support to Child Welfare System families. The contract is expected to be for a term of three 12-month periods, with the option to renew for up to two additional consecutive 12-month periods. The funding available for these services is approximately $500,000 annually. Key services include: • Providing direct support to parents currently involved with the Child Welfare System • Facilitating family finding and engagement activities • Building family and family-like connections to promote a robust support system for Child Welfare families • Providing information, support, and mentorship to new and existing Fresno County resource families and relative placements • Offering childcare, medical, developmental, and therapeutic resources
