Procure (One) Maintenance Hole Repair System

The City of Pullman is seeking to procure one new maintenance hole repair system. The system must meet certain minimum specifications, including a hydraulic asphalt/concrete pavement cutter with six or more adjustable cutting arms, a standard speedplate, and a cutting depth of 14" on the base unit. The system must also include a heavy-duty auger motor, all necessary hoses and fittings, a universal mounting plate, and a tool to assist personnel in lifting and transporting maintenance hole frames. The city reserves the right to reject any bids and make the award to the best serve the interests of the City of Pullman. • The system must be able to cut various diameters ranging from 28" to 60" on the base unit and 28" to 72" with optional accessories. • The system must include a magnetic device to assist personnel in removing and replacing maintenance hole lids in a safe manner. • The system must include an air-powered teeth gun kit that includes bits to remove roll pins and install the roll pins that secure the teeth. • The system must include supplies for rebuilding two maintenance holes. • The system must include an online training video that covers the unit's operation and rebuilding of the machine. • The system must include an electronic copy of the Operating and Maintenance Manuals.
