Term Contract for Painting Work

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking to establish a term contract for painting work with two qualified contractors. The contract will cover small projects not exceeding $50,000 each, and work will be contracted on a rotational basis among the selected contractors. The contract period is from the date of award through December 31, 2025, with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement. The contractors will provide commercial painting services, including interior and exterior painting, patching, and minor repairs. • The contract requires the contractors to have at least five years of experience in commercial painting work and to be licensed to perform painting work in the state of Alaska. • The contractors will be selected based on their past record of performance, capacity to perform the services, hourly rates, and markup on materials. • The contract includes provisions for insurance requirements, performance specifications, and payment terms. • The City and Borough of Juneau reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to award the contract to the successful proposers without further discussion.
