Description
The Glendale Community College District is seeking a Division of the State Architect (DSA)‑approved Laboratory of Record (LOR) to provide comprehensive construction‑materials testing and special‑inspection services for the new Instructional Building Conference Center (≈ 74,000 gsf). The selected lab will act as the “Laboratory of Record” for both pre‑construction validation and the full construction phase, delivering daily logs, verified reports, and all DSA‑Form 103 testing/inspection requirements on a fixed‑price basis.
• Provide all required tests and inspections listed in DSA‑Form 103 (soil, concrete, structural steel, post‑installed anchors, etc.) and any additional items the District specifies.
• Coordinate with the construction manager, submit test results within 1 workday on‑site (7 calendar days off‑site), and maintain records for five years.
• Must be a DSA‑listed lab with the appropriate test and inspection qualifications, carry the mandated insurance limits, and submit a lump‑sum price that includes escalation for the 24‑month contract term.
