The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for the placement and weekly servicing of portable toilets at Division of Wildlife owned and managed angler access locations throughout northeast Ohio. The contract term is 1 year from the date of execution with the option for up to 48 months of renewals. The bidder will be required to provide 15 portable toilets, which must be ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible, unless otherwise noted. The toilets will need to be serviced weekly, including pumping out, cleaning interior surfaces, restocking toilet paper, and providing and stocking hand sanitizer. The bid will be evaluated by summing the quoted pricing within the expected usage table.
• The contract requires the bidder to provide a one-time delivery fee and a monthly service and waiver fee for each fishing access location.
• The bidder must also provide a damage waiver, which should be included in the unit pricing for the monthly servicing.
• The contract has a preference for bidders who offer domestic source end products, Buy Ohio products, and veteran-friendly businesses.
• The contract also has a provision for economic price adjustment, which allows the contractor to request a price increase if there is a general increase in the cost of raw materials, labor, freight, workers' compensation, and/or unemployment insurance.
