IRST Block II Full Rate Production (FRP) Environmental Control Unit (ECU)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking potential sources for the production of Block II Phase IV Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Environmental Control Units (ECUs) for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing ECUs that can provide adequate temperature control to the Infrared Receiver (IRR) and Processor WRAs. The contractor must also be capable of performing automated test procedures and troubleshooting any issues at their facility. Additionally, the contractor may be required to design, build, or acquire special tooling equipment if necessary. • The production will consist of a base year and two option years: Full Rate Production (FRP) lots I, II, and III. • The contractor must be capable of performing automated test procedures on the specific WRA and troubleshooting any issues at their facility. • The contractor may be required to design, build, or acquire special tooling equipment if necessary. • Interested businesses must submit a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating their ability to provide the required supplies or services.
