Description

Solicitation No. 202684823June 30, 2026The Denver Bond Office (“DBO”) and the Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (“DOTI”), City and County of Denver (“City”), has issued a Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) for Park Hill Park Architectural & Engineering Design Services. RFQ documents will be available for download at www.bidnetdirect.com/cityandcountyofdenverdoti.General Statement of Work: Since at least 2018, neighbors have wondered what the future of the Park Hill Golf Club might be. Several different planning efforts or development proposals have engaged residents since that time, and in 2025, after the City of Denver purchased the land, Denver Parks and Recreation (“DPR”) launched a park visioning process. This process aimed to work with the community to develop a high-level vision framework of the important values, amenities, opportunities, and “bones” of the future park – the “big idea” to guide future design and construction phases.Work will generally include construction documents for demolition and site preparation; earthwork; drainage/channel improvements; site electrical including lighting, Ultraviolet (UV) treatment, and pumping system for water play area; paving & small pedestrian bridges; walls & boulders; site amenities; ecological and habitat educational features; shade structures; landscaping, including seeding, sodding, and native plantings; irrigation; irrigation pump station; outdoor adventure and playgrounds; and the potential to include 2- years of landscape-establishment. Vibrant Denver Bond Program: Approved by voters in 2025, the $950 million Vibrant Denver Bond Program is delivering 58 major projects across Denver, including libraries, parks and recreation centers, cultural facilities, affordable housing, improved streets and bridges, a family health clinic, a children’s advocacy center, and much more – without adding any new taxes. This bond program was informed by direct community input from thousands of Denverites and community leaders. The City will build the projects in this bond over six years from 2026 – 2031.A Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held on July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., local time.
