Single-Stream Recyclable Materials Transport and Processing Service

The City of Garland is seeking a contractor to provide single-stream recyclable materials transport and processing services. The contractor will be responsible for transporting materials from the City's Drop-off Recycling Center to their recycling facility for processing. The contract will be for an initial term of three years with up to two one-year renewal periods. The City is looking for a contractor that can provide the best value, considering factors such as pricing, proposed approach, location of processor, completeness of response, and experience and references. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Delivering materials to the recycling facility • Loading materials at the Drop-off Recycling Center • Transporting materials from the Drop-off Recycling Center to the recycling facility • Accepting and processing all materials collected via the recycling program • Removing any materials from the program with prior written approval from the City • Providing sufficient capacity to transport, accept, process, and market all materials collected via the recycling program.
