Construction of the Base Perimeter Security Fence and Security Patrol Road, Air Force Base Rygge, Norway

The project involves the construction of a base perimeter security fence and security patrol road at Rygge Air Station, Norway. The base perimeter fence will be a Type A welded wire mesh fencing surmounted by 3-strands of barbed wire with an outward facing 45-degree angled outrigger, signage, and clear zones. The project also includes an unpaved (gravel) security patrol road, site development, conduit for future connection to lighting and intrusion detection systems (IDS), storm drainage, and landscaping. The Government intends to select a contractor for award using a best value trade-off source selection process. * The project is expected to be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) stand-alone Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contract. * The estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $15,000,000. * The Government reserves the right to cancel any or all of the solicitation(s), either before or after the proposal opening with no obligation to the offeror(s) by the Government.
