Description
This solicitation establishes a blanket‑order contract for the supply of a wide range of grocery items (sauces, snacks, candies, beverages, canned goods, etc.) to be resold in the Louisiana Department of Corrections prison canteens. The State will issue individual delivery orders on an as‑needed basis; vendors must be able to meet unit‑price, delivery‑within‑14‑days‑ARO, and quality specifications for each line item. The contract runs from award until 12/31/2026 with up to two one‑year extensions, for a maximum term of 36 months. Vendors must submit a fully‑completed, signed bid (paper or electronic) by the bid opening time and be registered in the LaGov vendor portal.
• Blanket‑order procurement for grocery merchandise (≈30+ SKUs)
• Minimum order quantities per SKU range from 3 to 50 cases
• Delivery required within 14 days after order receipt (ARO)
• Unit prices must include freight (FOB destination) and be firm for the contract term
• Contract may be renewed twice for additional 12‑month periods at the same rates
• Award based on lowest responsive and responsible bidder; individual line items may be rejected
• Vendor must be registered in LaGov system and provide W‑9 if new
• Payment terms: net 30 days after invoice receipt; early‑payment discount of <1% optional
