Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center, is seeking a contractor to provide grounds maintenance services. The services include mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and snow/ice removal, as well as maintaining beds and mulched areas. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. The contract will be for a base year with four option years, and the work will be performed at the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Mowing and edging of improved grounds
• Trimming and pruning of trees, shrubs, and hedges
• Snow and ice removal from priority walkways and paved areas
• Maintenance of beds and mulched areas
• Irrigation system inspection and repair
The contractor will be required to provide weekly reports and logs, as well as participate in a quality control plan to ensure that all performance outcomes are met.
