Description
The Town of Exeter is seeking a qualified vendor to operate a self‑propelled mobile food‑vending vehicle from a designated downtown municipal parking space for the full calendar year 2025. The vendor must meet all local health, fire and safety regulations, cannot use propane at the site, and must not serve alcohol. The contract is awarded to the highest qualified bid (minimum $2,400) and requires a signed license agreement and payment within ten days of award.
• One (1) municipal parking location in downtown Exeter will be licensed for 2025 only.
• Vehicle must be self‑propelled, ≤ 19 ft × 8 ft, and cannot use propane; only electric/solar etc. are permitted.
• Applicants submit sealed paper proposals by 4:00 pm on Nov 8 2024; the highest qualified bid is recommended to the Select Board for final approval.
• Vendor must provide a Certificate of Insurance, state food‑service licenses, and photos of the vehicle, and must comply with Town Ordinance 802 and health inspection scores ≥ 80.
• After award, the vendor has 10 days to return a signed license agreement and pay the bid amount; failure results in award moving to the next qualified bidder.
