Description
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) in Coalinga is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑site pathology services for its medical staff. The contractor must supply a licensed, board‑certified pathologist (and any supporting staff) to perform clinical and anatomic pathology, generate same‑day reports, maintain a 24‑hour contact line, and comply with extensive quality‑assurance, safety, and data‑privacy requirements. Services are required Monday‑Friday, 7:30 a.m.‑4:00 p.m., with the possibility of occasional coverage at other DSH locations. The contract runs three years (June 1 2026 – May 31 2029) and will be paid on a per‑day rate basis, invoiced monthly.
• Provide on‑site clinical and anatomic pathology, interpret specimens, and deliver same‑day written reports.
• Maintain required licensure (California Clinical Laboratory License), certifications, and background clearances for all personnel.
• Supply 24/7 on‑call telephone support, a documented QA program, and regular cost‑reporting to DSH.
