Description
The City of Concord, NH is seeking a qualified executive‑search firm to manage the full recruitment cycle for its next City Manager, a senior municipal leadership role. The firm must be licensed to provide executive recruitment services in New Hampshire and will work closely with the City Council and Human Resources Director to develop candidate profiles, advertise the position, screen applicants, conduct interviews, perform background checks, and assist with offer negotiations. The engagement is expected to last about six months, culminating in the appointment of a new City Manager.
• Scope includes schedule creation, candidate profiling, diverse outreach, preliminary screening (10‑15 candidates), short‑list development, finalist interviews, background verification, and offer assistance.
• Mandatory warranty: a second search at reduced/no fee if the hire leaves within one year.
• Proposals due 10/29/2026 2 PM; questions due 10/15/2026.
