Description
Otero College seeks a qualified vendor to replace approximately 25 existing wireless security‑camera links with hard‑wired CAT6 connections, delivering a fully operational, higher‑quality surveillance network. The contractor must supply all equipment, cabling, labor, installation, configuration, testing, documentation, and coordination with college IT and facilities staff, while minimizing disruption to campus activities. The project is expected to start around 10/19/2026 and be completed no later than June 2027.
• Convert 25 point‑to‑point wireless camera connections to CAT6 hardline connections.
• Provide all materials (cabling, connectors, mounting hardware, network components) and labor.
• Perform removal, installation, configuration, and thorough testing of each camera link.
• Coordinate schedules with college IT and Facilities to limit downtime.
• Deliver complete documentation and obtain final acceptance from Otero College.
