Description
The University of Houston Cullen Campus is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to design, install, and commission a comprehensive security camera system across the campus. The work must follow the architectural drawings and specifications prepared by PGAL (Exhibit A) and comply with Texas Education Code §51.783. The contract will cover procurement of surveillance cameras, associated mounting hardware, cabling, networking, power supplies, and integration with existing access‑control and alarm systems, as well as full installation, testing, and training for university staff.
• Scope includes supply and installation of surveillance cameras, lenses, mounts, and related infrastructure.
• Must integrate with existing security and access‑control systems per university specifications.
• Includes all design, engineering, permitting, and on‑site installation work.
• Contractor responsible for testing, commissioning, and providing training/ documentation.
• Project located at 3700 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77204; completion expected within the FY27 budget period.
